As children many of us played with little wooden blocks, a simple child's toy, but full of such life lessons.
Let us make an example, we have four people, Delta, Sigma, Theta and Pi, we give each of them 5 blocks. Sigma comes up with the bright idea of sharing their blocks, which Pi rejects (Being irrational), but Delta and Theta join with Sigma, their 15 blocks allow them to build a three level pyramid. Pi seeing the pyramid decides he can do that on his own and so builds his pyramid, however it is only a two level structure and when he tries to build a third level it falls over.
"If I have seen farther, it is by standing on the shoulders of giants," -Isaac Newton
What does this have to do with the lifestyle or life in general? We each have our own blocks we gain from experience, add to that the blocks we are given during our education. Some choose to share these blocks of knowledge, building something greater than they could build alone, others choose to build their own structures, some are happy with the small structures, but many try to build something grand without enough blocks.
So, which are you? Do you try to build your own structure, or do you build on the structures others have already made?
